2026 customs changesWhat it means
Why we exist

Customs paperwork should not be manual in 2026.

Freight forwarders and brokers still spend hours re-keying data from invoices, bills of lading, and packing lists. Errors slip through, shipments get held, and skilled people spend their day on data entry instead of judgment. CargoLint exists to end that - to turn every customs document into structured, classified, auditable data, and give the work back to the people who are good at it.

What we believe

What we will not compromise on

Each one shows up in how the product behaves.

Focused beats broad

We do customs documents and nothing else. Every feature has to earn its place against a real forwarder or broker workflow - or it does not ship.

It tells you what it does not know

We will not call it zero-touch, because it is not. When the model is unsure, it says so; when it is wrong, the audit trail shows why. The product is built to surface its own uncertainty.

The human stays in command

The AI reads, recommends, and flags - a person decides. Nothing high-stakes is released without someone signing off. The fail-safe is not a setting, it is the design.

Your data is yours

Your documents and corrections never train shared or public models. Whatever the system learns, it learns inside your own workspace, on your own goods - and you can turn even that off.

Built to be audited

Any field traces back to its source document, the model version that read it, and the person who approved it - without digging through logs. Compliance is a first-class feature.

See it on your own files

The fastest way to judge CargoLint is on your own toughest documents - so that is what we offer first. A free audit, your files, real results, before you commit to anything.

The standard we hold

We hold customs data to the standard of payments and healthcare.

CargoLint is built to the standard of the most regulated software there is - payments, healthcare, telecom - where a silent failure is a liability, not an inconvenience. Customs data deserves the same: every extraction traceable, every model decision logged, every integration designed for the scrutiny a compliance team brings.

Leadership

We take this as seriously as you do

CargoLint is led by its founder and CEO, Edison Sinani, who started the company to bring the rigor of mission-critical software to a corner of trade still run by hand. The aim is large: to become the layer every forwarder and broker trusts to turn a stack of documents into a filing that holds up - and to retire manual re-keying for good. He brings more than fifteen years building production systems for payments, healthcare, and telecommunications, and founded the software practice Intelligent Metrics.

It is built hand in hand with licensed customs brokers and freight forwarders as design partners, so every workflow is shaped by people who clear shipments for a living.
