Share a Document Without an Account
Give a broker or client a read-only view of a document - no CargoLint login required.
A broker, client, or counterpart needs to see a document’s extracted data - but they don’t work in CargoLint, and you don’t want to add them as a user. Share a read-only link instead.
”Someone outside my team needs to see this. Do I have to give them an account?”
No. Open the document and choose Share (also available from the Documents list). Enter their email address - and optionally their company - and send. They receive a private link to a read-only view, with no login and no access to the rest of your workspace.

”What can they see, and can they change anything?”
They see the document’s extracted fields, line items, and compliance status, plus the original PDF. It’s strictly read-only - they can’t edit a field, approve the document, or browse anything else in your account.
”How long does the link last, and is it safe to send?”
Links expire 3 days after they’re sent. Anyone holding a live link can view that data, so send it only to addresses you trust, and re-share after expiry rather than asking people to forward the link. Each share has a per-share recipient limit, and your account has a daily sharing quota - both are shown in the share dialog as you approach them.
